Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck performed on the same bill on November 14, 1989 at Cleveland Public Hall for a great night of blues. Public Hall is located in the central business district of downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Since it was opened in 1922, it has served as a concert hall, sports arena and convention center. It was considered the larger hall for rock concerts in the 1970's and 80's. Its use as a concert venue declined sharply after the completion of the CSU Convocation Center at Cleveland State University in 1991. In April 2009, it hosted the annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.
